No JDM car launch is complete without several catalogues of accessories to go along with it, so let’s take a look at what’s being offered for the Daihatsu Rocky, starting with bodykits. There are three exterior styling packages to choose from – Elegance, Powerful, and Sporty (seen on the red unit above).

The Sporty bodykit comes with four “stick-on” parts such as the front lip, side skirts, rear lip, and a raised rear spoiler. It costs quite a pretty penny at close to 200,000 yen (RM7.6k), but Daihatsu Japan is offering 10% off for the time being (applicable for the other two bodykit packages below as well).

Additional accessories can be had as well, which include gloss black garnish for the front and rear fog lamps, red pinstripe accents on the radiator grille and tailgate trim, carbon-fibre fuel-cap, as well as 16-inch six-spoke dark alloy wheels. For the cabin, Sporty customers get to add even more textured red highlights for the door handle surrounds, gear lever case, door inserts, and black leather seat upholstery with red edges.

Next up is the Powerful package. Here, the Rocky gets dressed in a more rugged-looking bodykit with fake skid plates, but there’s no rear spoiler to go with the 170,000 yen (RM6.5k) package. Customers get the option of adding a black plastic bonnet trim, roof racks and a cargo box, blue LED DRLs, and two twin-five spoke 16-inch wheels either in matte or gloss black finish.

Basic interior accessories are just about the same as the Sporty, although this gets orange highlights instead of red. It gets tricoloured fabric seat upholstery, made from a mix of grey, black, and orange contrasting hues.

And then we have the Elegance package, which costs the most at nearly 260,000 yen (RM9.9k). This comprises five chromed items – front lip, side skirts, rear lip, radiator grille and tailgate trim. If you want more bling, you can add chrome door mouldings, chrome side mirror caps, chrome fender trim, chrome fog lamp accents (front and rear), and 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.

For the cabin, it shares the same leather seat upholstery as the Sporty, but the red accents are finished in white instead. Items such as the door insert and handle surrounds are finished in gloss black, and the same applies to the gear lever housing. Overall, things are more subdued here.

But that’s not all. Daihatsu is also offering a tonne of other accessories, from vinyl stripes, door handle guards, door visors, carpeted floor mats, steering wheel covers, underseat tray, sill plates, coloured push-start button, child seats, and a raft of boot tray organisers.

There’s also a range of fancy LED upgrades, where users can swap out bulbs for LEDs, and fit wheel wells with blue LED lights as well. All accessories can be individually installed, and each come with a three-year warranty. So, what do you think of this?
